The German's condition is kept private by his family and friends
Michael Schumacher's team have shared a sweet snap of the German during the 90s as he continues to recover from a skiing accident a decade ago.
The German is regarded as one of the best F1 drivers of all time, having won seven titles during his career.
Over the past two days, however, Schumacher's team have taken to Instagram to share some throwback snaps.
One image published on Sunday showed the 54-year-old celebrating after winning at Suzuka back in 2000.
And his camp have now shared another image of the German, this time from the 90s.
"No filter needed for this 90s yearbook," they wrote, with the former F1 driver posing for the camera.
Many Schumacher fans were quick to comment, with one user saying: "Missing you Michael as we hear nothing about you for long."
"Michael is LEGENDARY!" said another.
And a third fan said: "We miss you Michael. The only one."
Schumacher has lived the last decade away from the spotlight.
The Ferrari legend was tragically involved in a skiing accident back in 2013 when he went off course and hit his head on a rock.
Schumacher was wearing a helmet at the time and could have died at the scene if he hadn't been sporting that protective gear.
He was placed in a medically induced coma and underwent several surgeries to treat his injuries.
While doctors were able to leave Schumacher, however, no images of the F1 hero have been shared in the years since.
His family, understandably, prefer to keep his condition 'private'.
That was explained by wife Corinna in 2021, with the German telling a Netflix documentary: "I miss Michael every day.
"But it's not just me who misses him.
"It's the children, the family, his father, everyone around him.
"Everybody misses Michael, but Michael is here - different, but here. He still shows me how strong he is every day."
She added: "We are trying to carry on as a family, the way Michael liked it and still does.
"We live together at home. We do therapy. We do everything we can to make Michael better and to make sure he's comfortable.
"We are getting on with our lives: 'private is private' as he always said.
"It's very important to me that he can continue to enjoy his private life as much as possible.
"Michael always protected us, now we are protecting Michael."
Close friend Roger Benoit, meanwhile, did provide a rare update on Schumacher last month.

And he stated his old pal was a 'case without hope'.
"No," he told Blick when asked if he was able to provide an update on Schumacher and his condition. "There is only one answer to this question and that is what his son Mick gave in one of his rare interviews in 2022: ‘I would give anything to talk to dad’.
"This sentence says everything about how his father has been doing for over 3500 days. A case without hope.”
Benoit was referring to comments made by Schumacher's son, Mick.
Last year, the 24-year-old said: “I think dad and me, we would understand each other in a different way now.
"We would have had much more to talk about and that is where my head is most of the time, thinking that would be so cool. I would give up everything just for that."
