Man City 'could be relegated five divisions' as Everton face staggering Premier League points deduction
Man City are confident they can prove their innocence amid over 100 charges from the Premier League

Jamie Carragher has raged after it emerged Everton could be slapped with a points deduction for Financial Fair Play breaches.
The Toffees deny any wrongdoing and are confident they'll be able to prove their innocence to an individual commission.
However, if found guilty, they face losing 12 points - which would dent their hopes of staying in the Premier League.
Manchester City, meanwhile, remain under investigation.

The Premier League accused the reigning treble winners of breaching more than 100 financial rules back in February.
And Carragher, writing on X, has raged about the way Everton have been treated in comparison - while also suggesting City could drop down to the National League North if the top flight get their way.
"The PL want a 12 point deduction for Everton for one charge," he said.
"Man City are going to end up in the National League North if the PL get their way!!
"Unbelievable the amount of stories that come out about Everton’s situation, but Man City’s, which has 114 more charges & has gone on for much longer, has gone very quiet."
City, like Everton, have always protested their innocence.
At the time of the Premier League's statement, the club issued one of their own.
They said: "Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.
"The club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.
"As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all."
For now the case remains open.
Everton will find out the outcome of their investigation by the end of the week.
It is already a difficult period for the Toffees, with owner Bill Kenwright passing away at the age of 78 on Tuesday.
Everton are in the spotlight after they recorded financial losses of £304 million over a three-year period.
That is considerably over the amount of £105 million set out by the Premier League.
Everton have already struggled on the pitch this season, winning just two league matches so far.
A points deduction isn't the only possible outcome from the investigation, too.
Everton could be slapped with a transfer ban, while they may also be handed a huge fine as well.
Financial concerns surrounding the club have arisen after a period of overspending under owner Farhad Moshiri, the Daily Telegraph say.
Over the past half a decade, Everton have announced losses of £44.7 million in 2022, £121.3 million in 2021, £139.9 million in 2020, £111.8 million in 2019 and £13.1 million in 2018.

They currently sit 16th in the Premier League ahead of their showdown with West Ham on Sunday.
Manager Sean Dyche, meanwhile, said last week that he was confident Everton were innocent of any rule breaches.
"I know what I need to know and that's enough for me," he said.
"I don't need to add in another level of someone's opinion.
"I know what I know from inside, it is often irrelevant what someone is saying from the outside because I know what's going on."
