Wesley Bryan has announced a breakaway tour after being banned from the PGA Tour.

The golfer is teaming up with his brother George and popular content creator Grant Horvat to establish 'Your Golf Tour'.

The 36-year-old, who peaked at 36th in the Official World Golf Ranking back in 2017, lost his tour membership after competing in LIV Golf's 'The Duels' event, which brought together the breakaway circuit's top professionals alongside YouTube personalities.

Now operating independently, the Bryan brothers, known collectively as the Bryan Bros and among YouTube golf's most prominent figures, are offering a £750,000 prize fund through their new venture.

The competition will bring together 16 of the best golfers from the creator community across a series of four events.

A statement read: "Today, we are proud to announce the launch of a new venture, Your Golf Tour (YGT) a multi year Tour designed for high-level competition in the digital golf landscape.

"Competitive golf is where we started. YouTube golf is where we’ve evolved.

"We believe there’s a place for both. It’s built by the Creators for the audience who has grown with us."

It added: "For years, we imagined building a tour, but it felt out of reach. We’re grateful for how much innovation has happened in Golf recently.

"We’ve experienced all that this space has to offer, and now it’s time for the next chapter. Our vision is to create a structure for top players to perform under real pressure with significant stakes while remaining authentic to the YouTube format that we know and love."

The tour will conclude with an individual stroke-play championship at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, where participants will battle for significant prize money.

YouTube golf content has demonstrated considerable commercial potential, with last year's Internet Invitational attracting approximately 27 million views across its six episodes.

This substantial viewership shows a growing appetite for golf events that operate outside traditional professional circuits, providing a platform for the new venture to capture audience attention.

Horvat has outlined the selection process for the inaugural field.

He explained that competitors were chosen primarily for their ability before considering their on-screen appeal.

Horvat said: "We are starting with the 16 hand-selected top golfers in the creator world, not all of whom are giant names."

He added: "The selection was based first on skill, then personality.

"However, our goal is to evolve even bigger and host massive qualifiers in the future.

"We want this to be a viable option for players who have maybe given up on pro golf but are great competitors.

"There are so many incredible players out there who deserve a chance to compete. That is what YGT is all about."
