Scottie Scheffler has won the 2025 PGA Championship with the world No 1 claiming glory, and a huge sum of $3.42million (£2.56m), with a brilliant performance at Quail Hollow.
The 28-year-old went into the final day with a score of -11, three shots clear of Alex Noren in second.
Scheffler struggled during the early stages of the final day, with nerves evident as his performance faltered at times.
He was, however, able to keep his cool as he dethroned Xander Schauffele to win the tournament for the first time in his career and continue his rise towards the greats of the game.

While he started the day in a battle with Noren, it was Jon Rahm who emerged as his main rival as the afternoon seeped into evening.
By the end, however, there was only one winner.
Scheffler doesn't show much emotion. It was a different story than usual this time around, however, with the golfer fighting back tears and throwing his cap in joy as the magnitude of his achievement sunk in.
He also embraced his wife, Meredith, and hugged their one-year-old son, Bennett.

Rahm had, at one point, held the joint lead.
The controversial LIV Golf star faltered in the closing stages, however, with Scheffler able to capitalise as he won by five shots.
The 28-year-old has now emulated Tiger Woods by becoming just the second golfer in history to win consecutive PGA Tour tournaments by at least five strokes.
Woods did it twice, in 2000 when he triumphed at the Memorial tournament and US Open.

Scheffler now has three majors to his name.
He has previously won the Masters twice, having achieved the feat in 2022 and 2024. The American was, however, unable to secure his third green jacket last month - with Rory McIlroy reigning supreme instead.
Scheffler has spoken out after his sensational win.
And the golfer cut a delighted figure as he spoke to CBS' Amanda Balionis, with the golfer pleased he was able to maintain his composure.

"I knew it was going to be a challenging day," he said.
"To finish off a major championship is always difficult, and I did a good job of staying patient on the front nine.
"I didn't have my best stuff but I kept myself in it, stepped up on the back nine and had a really good nine holes.
"It was a battle out there all four days. I'm looking forward to celebrating this one."

Scheffler then proceeded to lift the Wanamaker Trophy above his head.
However, the lid then came off. Fortunately, an alert member of the PGA Championship organising committee was able to catch it.
