Scottie Scheffler secured his second consecutive Memorial Tournament victory on Sunday, earning £3 million with a commanding four-stroke triumph over Ben Griffin at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio.
The 28-year-old world number one joined Tiger Woods as the only players to successfully defend the Memorial title in the tournament's history.
Scheffler finished at 10-under 278 after posting a steady final round of 2-under 70.
The victory marked his third win in four tournaments and his 16th PGA Tour triumph overall.

Tournament host Jack Nicklaus congratulated him walking off the green, saying: "Well, you did it again."
The celebration was quickly brought back to earth when Scheffler's wife Meredith handed him their one-year-old son Bennett, who had suffered an unfortunate nappy mishap.
"He has poop all over his back," Meredith can be heard telling Scheffler in footage that quickly went viral on social media.
"That'll happen," the world number one responded with a smile before inspecting the visible brown stain on Bennett's clothes.
One fan commented: "Winning a golf tournament for $4 million and your wife handing you a baby with a poop stain square in the middle of his back is peak dad life."

The stain remained visible during Scheffler's post-round interview with CBS reporter Amanda Balionis.
Balionis later uploaded a photograph of their interview to social media, writing: "Sorry Bennett about posting your blowout... mom and dad can use this as blackmail when you're older."
During the interview, Scheffler became emotional when asked about his wife's support in his efforts to be a better golfer, father and husband.

"You're really trying to make me emotional now," a choked-up Scheffler said while holding Bennett.
"My wife is my biggest supporter, she's my best friend... I definitely couldn't do it without her."
Scheffler's latest triumph comes after he underwent hand surgery at the start of the year following a freak cooking accident.
He has since returned to his best form, having already secured the PGA Championship this season.

"It's always a hard week," said Scheffler. "We battled really hard on the weekend. Overall it was a great week."
On one of the tougher PGA Tour tests of the year, Scheffler made just one bogey over the final 40 holes at Muirfield Village.
The victory positions him perfectly ahead of the US Open in two weeks' time, where he will seek his fourth major title.
