Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of US President Donald Trump, has firmly ruled out any prospect of entering the political arena.
Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul, the high school senior declared: "I would never run and I don't want anything to do with politics."
The daughter of Donald Trump Jr and Vanessa Trump cited safety concerns as her primary motivation for steering clear of public office.
"I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing," she explained, adding that greater happiness would prevail "if both sides met in the middle."

"There's radical-Left, there's radical-Right and there's a lot of people who get too extreme," she observed.
The young Trump also identified social media as a significant driver of political division in contemporary discourse.
She argued that platforms such as Instagram create echo chambers, pushing users towards one ideological extreme or another.
"Social media kind of makes your Instagram or your feed be one way or the other and there's not a lot of things on social media if you're very much in the middle," she noted.

"I think that kind of makes some people crazy and some people buy into it too much," she remarked.
Her remarks carry particular weight given the dangers her grandfather faced during his 2024 presidential campaign. Mr Trump survived two assassination attempts whilst seeking the White House, narrowly escaping death when a bullet grazed him at a rally.
When pressed by the podcast host for her views on Kamala Harris, the former vice-president who challenged her grandfather in the election, Ms Trump declined to offer criticism.
"There's no bad blood. It is what it is, they ran against each other," she said.
The teenager emphasised that whilst she naturally supports her family, she harbours no personal animosity towards her grandfather's political opponents.

Ms Trump, who harbours ambitions of a professional golfing career, made her comments on the Impaulsive podcast. She noted that her parents encouraged her and her siblings to develop their own political views rather than imposing beliefs upon them.
"Nothing was ever pushed upon us. I just happen to be a granddaughter of the president," she said.
Her father, Donald Trump Jr, has established himself as a prominent conservative voice in American politics.
