Thomas Frank expressed satisfaction following Tottenham's commanding 2-0 triumph at the Etihad Stadium, acknowledging the challenge of facing Manchester City on their home turf.
The Danish manager highlighted his tactical approach, particularly the man-marking system employed during City's goal kicks, which proved crucial in disrupting the hosts' rhythm.
"I think this is one of the most difficult places to go to in the Premier League," Frank told TNT Sports.

Despite City's initial dominance, the Spurs manager praised his team's resilience and defensive solidity.
Brennan Johnson opened the scoring for the visitors, before Joao Palhinha doubled their advantage just before half-time.
The Bayern Munich loanee capitalised on a poor pass from James Trafford, City's debutant goalkeeper, which fell to Nico inside the penalty area. Pape Matar Sarr intercepted the loose ball, setting up Palhinha for a powerful finish.
Summer signing Mohammed Kudus delivered another impressive display on the right flank, justifying the £55million investment from West Ham.
The Ghanaian international's performance added to Frank's delight as his new recruits continue to make immediate impacts in north London colours.
Frank revealed he discovered a squad with exceptional character upon taking charge from Ange Postecoglou.
"I found a very strong mentality in the players," he explained to TNT Sports.
"It was a group that had been through a tough season ending on a high. Those tough moments pulled them even closer together."
The Danish tactician also singled out Richarlison for praise, commending the Brazilian's work rate and overall contribution.

"Richy performed well today. Work ethic, and everything was very good about it," Frank stated.
Despite the victory, Frank confirmed Tottenham remain active in the transfer market ahead of the September 1 deadline. "We would like to add a bit, but only if it can strengthen the squad."
The club has encountered setbacks in their recruitment efforts, with Morgan Gibbs-White extending his stay at Nottingham Forest and Eberechi Eze opting for Arsenal instead. These disappointments haven't deterred Frank's ambitions for squad improvement.
"We are looking to add in, and hopefully succeed. I know the club is working very hard. I trust them," Frank said.
