Kemi Badenoch warned that Rachel Reeves will 'play the victim' and blame the Tories for the Budget

Rachel Reeves is set to announce her so-called "nightmare before Christmas" budget in less than one week.

Although the Chancellor has recently U-turned on her plans to increase income tax, she still faces a semi-self-imposed target of raising £40billion.

During a press conference earlier this week, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch warned Ms Reeves will "play the victim" and blame "the wicked Tories" for the gaps in the Budget.

However, Ms Badenoch did admit some faults in her party's handling of the country's finances, saying: "I don't have a time machine to go back and fix what other people did, we can also see that those things didn't work. We have learned those lessons."

Now, GB News is asking: Is the previous Government partly responsible for the Budget chaos?
