The England legend has provided his picks ahead of the final day of the Premier League season

Manchester United will suffer more woe this weekend - and end the season with a defeat.

That’s the view of former England defender Terry Butcher, who is backing Aston Villa to win 2-0 at Old Trafford, and secure a Champions League spot.

Defeat would heap more pressure on Ruben Amorim who said he’d be willing to quit the club in the wake of their Europa League defeat to Spurs.

The Portuguese has endured a miserable time since switching from Sporting, and reports claim some of his players are unsure if he is the man to turn around the club’s fortunes.

There’s no such concern at Liverpool, who will lift the Premier League title on Sunday.

The Reds’ welcome FA Cup winners Crystal Palace to Anfield, and Butcher, who works alongside the Motivational Speakers Agency, is predicting a 1-1 draw.

Elsewhere Butcher is tipping Manchester City, West Ham, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal and Brentford to win.

Chelsea's win would see them claim the final spot in the race for the Champions League, knowing that three points against Nottingham Forest will be enough.

That match is a straight shootout for qualification to Europe's most prestigious competition.

Meanwhile, Butcher also thinks Bournemouth and Leicester will end all square.

And he’s tipping Brighton to get a point at Spurs, who are still in party mode after winning the Europa League.
