Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted that Premier League Profit and Sustainability rules are hampering the club's transfer plans this summer.
The Portuguese coach has warned supporters that major squad changes will be limited due to financial constraints.
"We have a plan that is to bring some new players, of course, but our big plan is to improve the team that we have," Amorim told reporters ahead of United's post-season tour of Asia.
"It is not going to change so much because we have the FFP rules, we are not allowed to do much this summer."

Amorim has urged fans to remain patient during this challenging period.
The Red Devils' failure to qualify for the Champions League has cost the club a potential £100 million windfall, further exposing their precarious financial position.
Amorim suggested that the absence of Champions League football could have some benefits for squad management.
"Without Champions League, we don't need a big squad, we can control the squad in a better way," he explained.
"It's important to stick together.
"We are going to struggle, it is not going to be everything right away but I see the team improving and that is the most important thing."

Despite Amorim's caution about transfer restrictions, United have moved swiftly in the market to secure Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
The striker is set to join the Old Trafford club in a substantial £62.5 million deal.
United are also pursuing Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, who is reportedly valued at £50 million.

These transfer activities come amid expectations of a busy summer of incomings and outgoings, regardless of the club's Europa League final outcome.
The significant player movement was anticipated following a disappointing league campaign that saw United finish 15th with just 42 points, their worst Premier League season ever.
Despite United's poor league record under Amorim, with just seven wins in 27 matches since his November arrival from Sporting CP, the manager remains optimistic about the team's trajectory.

"A really tough season without trophies in the league," Amorim said. "For some people it's hard to understand and see but I think we are improving as a team."
United flew to Malaysia immediately after beating Aston Villa 2-0 on Sunday, with the club reportedly earning around £8 million for the post-season tour.
