Michael Jordan, Noel Gallagher and Tommy Fleetwood were among the star names in attendance at Pep Guardiola's leaving party as the legendary Manchester City manager said farewell to the club.
Guardiola announced last week that he will be stepping down as the City boss after a decade in charge.
One of the NBA's all-time greats, Jordan, was a surprise participant in sending off the Spaniard.
In a video message played at the Co-Op Live arena, which was attended by 19,000 supporters, Jordan said: "I just wanted to congratulate you on an unbelievable career.
"Enjoy your retirement. Good luck on the links and keep them straight. Congratulations."
British golfer Fleetwood also added his own words, saying: "You deserve whatever you are about to do next.
"It is an honour to call you a friend and congratulations. You have been amazing."
Gallagher joined Guardiola for an interview where he addressed the thousands in attendance.

The Spaniard said: "First of all, thank you so much for coming tonight to say bye.
"I feel tonight that really shows the connection this club has. [City chairman] Khaldoon Al Mubarak and all the people and all the City fans that were connected from the first minute.
"Thank you so much, I don't have enough gratitude. Always, for the rest of my life, I will have you in my heart."
Before heading to the arena, thousands of City fans lined the streets of Manchester to bid a final farewell to Guardiola.

Several City legends who worked under the Spaniard were in attendance, including Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho, Ederson and Jack Grealish.
Tributes were paid to captain Bernardo Silva and defender John Stones, who are also departing the club.
Striker Erling Haaland said on stage: "It has been a pleasure to play with Bernardo and John - and of course Pep.
"We won a lot of trophies, and I was happy to play with Bernardo and John because they are amazing footballers, but even better people deep down.

"It has been an amazing journey, but we need to keep pushing and fighting even without them."
Guardiola gave an emotional speech to City fans at the Etihad Stadium after their final game of the season, where they lost 2-1 to Aston Villa.
He said: "I never expected to be here for 10 years. Manchester became my home.
"It has been a huge honour to represent this club. Every decision I took, even with all the mistakes, I always thought about what was best for this club. I love you so much."
