The Friday evening matches will be shared between Goldbridge's platform, Gary Neville's "The Overlap" channel, and the BBC, with all three providing free-to-air coverage.

The agreement represents the first instance of a digital content creator obtaining official broadcasting rights from a major European football league.

The arrangement grants "That's Football" streaming rights for twenty Bundesliga fixtures on Friday evenings, alongside the production of thirty-four weekly programmes throughout the season.

The channel announced the partnership on social media, describing it as "a landmark deal putting That's Football alongside Sky, BBC & Amazon in the Bundesliga UK strategy."

Goldbridge expressed gratitude to his audience, stating: "Thanks to the community for helping us build this. We keep moving."

The season's coverage commences this Friday with Bayern Munich hosting RB Leipzig.

Traditional broadcasters retain their positions, with Sky Sports continuing Saturday evening broadcasts and Amazon Prime offering Sunday fixtures through pay-per-view at £2.49 per match.

Di Cesare has cultivated a substantial online presence through passionate commentary during Manchester United matches on "The United Stand", which claims 2.15 million YouTube subscribers.

His "That's Football" platform has attracted 1.38 million followers.

Financial records indicate his five companies held over £4 million in assets by late 2023, representing a £1.2 million annual increase.

His influence hasn't been without controversy. Former United defender Paul Parker criticised Di Cesare in 2023, alleging he was actually a Nottingham Forest supporter who "has no relationship to Man United".

Additionally, player Alejandro Garnacho faced internal discipline after endorsing one of Goldbridge's critical posts about manager Erik ten Hag.

LATEST SPORTS NEWS:

The Overlap, featuring pundits Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane and Ian Wright, confirmed their participation with a social media announcement: "Friday Nights = Bundesliga. Every Friday night game, all season, live & free on The Overlap. UK & Ireland."

BBC Sport director Alex Kay-Jelski welcomed the development, saying: "To be able to include Bundesliga matches within our live football offering is phenomenal, especially Bayern Munich's opening game featuring England's captain Harry Kane."

The restructured broadcasting arrangement follows Spain's LaLiga recently granting highlights rights to Gary Lineker's "The Rest is Football" podcast, signalling broader changes in football media distribution.
