Marcus Rashford has broken his silence after clashing with a Manchester United fan prior to his side's 3-2 win over Newcastle on Wednesday night.
The England international was benched for the match at Old Trafford, having only just recovered from injury.
Rashford would come on to help United secure victory after goals from Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund.
Prior to the contest, however, the 26-year-old clashed with a fan in the stands who was heckling the forward after an underwhelming season.

Rashford had to be dragged away by Christian Eriksen and looked unhappy, having been booed by some fans over the course of the campaign.
But the England star didn't address the incident on social media and instead expressed his delight with the result.
"It's a special feeling to say that I have played 400 times for United," he said. "Thank you."
Rashford made his debut for United all the way back in 2016, with the forward scoring twice in a Europa League victory over FC Midtjylland.
He then proceeded to bag another brace just a few days later in a stirring 3-2 victory over Arsenal.
Rashford helped United win the Carabao Cup and Europa League in 2017, when Jose Mourinho ruled the roost at Old Trafford.
And he was also key as the Red Devils beat Newcastle 2-0 at Wembley to win the Carabao Cup last season, too.
Rashford scored 30 goals across all competitions last term, with the United star appearing to turn a corner in the process.
He has regressed this term, however, managing just eight - with Alejandro Garnacho, Scott McTominay, Hojlund and Bruno Fernandes all managing more.
Rashford has been linked with a move away from United as a result of his struggles this term.
But while Paris Saint-Germain have long been rumoured to be interested in the forward, the Ligue 1 giants are set to prioritise other players instead.
Another player who has been backed to leave United is Fernandes.
The former Sporting Lisbon star has been a shining light ever since his arrival back in the January transfer window of 2020.
PSG, Bayern Munich and clubs from Saudi Arabia have all been linked with the playmaker, who impressed against Newcastle last night.
Yet Erik ten Hag insists Fernandes loves the club and shut down talk of a departure.

"No, absolutely, the club wants to keep Bruno. There is no question," he said.
"He loves Manchester United, he loves the fans from Manchester United, and he loves to play for Manchester United."
He added: "You see he gives always his best. And he's an example, even with injuries; he's playing. He loves football.
"He wants to win, and I think that's how I describe his character.
"I'm very pleased with his performance. And [his] performances across the season, because, for him, it's not easy when so many players are injured around him, and every time he has to carry the team.

"But then, for him, he keeps a good level, and I would say even a high level, especially in the spring, he grows to a brilliant level.
"I'm very pleased with it."
