Manchester City have paid tribute to a fan who died suddenly while traveling to see the team face Villarreal on Tuesday night.
Guy Bradshaw, 35, was found dead in his hotel room in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as he tragically never made the match.
In a touching tribute, Manchester City took to social media to pay their respects to Bradshaw.
The club statement said: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Guy Bradshaw, a City supporter who tragically died in Spain before the club’s match against Villarreal last night.

“Everyone at the club sends their condolences to his family, friends, and fellow fans during this difficult time. Once a Blue, Always a Blue.”
Bradshaw had posted a video on his public Facebook page just hours before his death, showing him alongside Ricky Hatton’s son, Campbell.
The cause of death for the 36-year-old has not been confirmed.
Bradshaw’s cousin spoke to the Manchester Evening News and confirmed the family had been informed that his death was under “no suspicious circumstances”.
She added: “It’s just so tragic that he ended up going to identify his body instead,” and said the family had been left feeling “empty” following the loss.
His father, Martin, was due to fly out to join Guy for the match.

Jess also revealed that the trip was booked at the last minute, and that Guy had not sorted travel insurance before he flew, meaning the family is now facing a hefty fee to be able to bring his body back to the UK.
His father, 56, revealed that City were helping with the logistics of getting his body back to the UK, and were helping the family during this period.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of the 36-year-old.
On the page, he described Guy as a “much-loved Son, Brother, Dad, friend, and true Wythenshawe legend.

“But above all, Guy was a devoted dad. His beautiful daughter Ava was his absolute world.
“He spoke about her with so much pride and love, and their bond was something truly special.”
The donations from the page will go to helping bring his body home and to help with funeral costs after the unexpected loss.
