Thomas Tuchel is reportedly open to taking charge of Manchester United despite choosing to take a break from management back in the summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils are set to make a final decision on Erik ten Hag today amid a dreadful start to the new Premier League season.
United opted to stick with the 54-year-old back in the summer after he guided the club to a remarkable FA Cup triumph over Manchester City.
But the fallen giants have since picked up just eight points from seven league matches to sit 14th in the Premier League table.

Ten Hag is set to discover his fate today after United chiefs hold a meeting in London.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Joel Glazer, Dan Ashworth, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox are set to be present, with the quintet also locked in talks over the Dutchman on Monday.
Back in the summer, after talks with United collapsed, Tuchel opted to take a break from management.
The former Chelsea boss believed he needed to recharge the batteries after a turbulent spell in charge of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

But Tuchel, according to The Mirror, is now open to a sensational return to management at Old Trafford.
The 51-year-old is currently the favourite to take over from Ten Hag, having won silverware galore during the course of his career so far.
United gave Ten Hag a one-year extension after their 2-1 FA Cup win over Manchester City in May.
It will, as a result, cost them around £17.5million to axe the former Ajax boss.

If Ten Hag does lose his job at United, Ruud van Nistelrooy may be given the keys to the club on a temporary basis.
The Netherlands icon returned to the Red Devils back in the summer to work as his compatriot's assistant.
Van Nistelrooy is, however, believed to have concerns about his reputation if he's appointed as Ten Hag's interim replacement.
He doesn't want to be seen as the man who stabbed Ten Hag in the back - though the chance to manage United obviously appeals.

“People are going to criticise you because there has been high standards held at this club because it’s one of the most historic clubs in world football.”
