Paul Gascoigne is desperate for Marcus Rashford to not follow the same path he did after the Manchester United star's booze-filled trip to Belfast.
United punished Rashford after he went on what has been described as a '12-hour Tequila bender' in Northern Ireland last week.
The England international spent two nights in Belfast last week before reporting ill upon his return to Manchester.
He pulled out of training last Friday and was left out of the squad for the FA Cup win over Newport County at the weekend.

United boss Erik ten Hag declared it an 'internal matter' and the club released a statement on Monday confirming the matter had been resolved.
The Sun claimed Rashford was given a maximum fine of two weeks' wages worth around £650,000.
The 26-year-old sent a message to his doubters against Wolves on Thursday, scoring within five minutes of his first appearance since the incident.
But Gascoigne is concerned that Rashford could fall into the same habits he suffered during his playing career.
Gascoigne had his fair share of off-field issues, battling alcohol and injuries, and doesn't want the United star to go down the same road.
The former Tottenham midfielder told the Daily Mirror: "I really like Marcus Rashford. He is my favourite England player. But you can tell things are just not right for him right now.
"I would say to him, 'Don't make the same mistakes as me'. He may need the help of the players around him, the staff to bring him around. Sometimes there are problems outside the game.
"He is a great player, at a great club, playing for his country, and yet he doesn't seem happy.
"Obviously there is an issue with the manager [Ten Hag] and he doesn't even celebrate his goals in the same way.
"He is down, he is getting fined, like I was at Lazio. It is not easy being in the limelight."
Gascoigne sought therapy during his darkest moments and reckons it would help Rashford.
He added: "When I was at Spurs, I found it so hard that I went to see a counsellor once a week, to talk my problems through.
"As a man, it is sometimes hard to ask for help. Even footballers need it sometimes.
