Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted to being 'frustrated' and 'angry' following his side's 1-1 draw with West Ham at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
The Red Devils produced another flat display in front of their own supporters, with the Hammers earning a draw through Soungoutou Magassa following a second-half opener from Diogo Dalot.
United had entered the showdown knowing victory would have seen them rise to fifth in the Premier League table.
However, less than two weeks on from a woeful 1-0 defeat to Everton on their own turf, they dropped yet more points and were booed off at full-time.
Amorim, speaking after the game, admitted he was furious with United's flat performance as a glorious chance to rise up the table slipped away.
"Frustrated, angry, that is it," he said when asked how he was feeling.
"After the first goal, we lost some second balls. We tried to defend all the time far from the goal. It happened long ball, they win the second ball against three guys of us so we need to be better in the second half.
"We are losing because of the second balls, sometimes it is not more men in front. We are really inconsistent but if you look at the goal, we have a long ball, we have everything under control, we need to do better.

Dalot's opener had United on course for victory, with the Portugal international finally scoring his first goal at home after seven years at the club.
But Amorim feels his side should have closed the game out and that the win had been there for the taking.
He added: "We should have closed the game with the ball because the game was there to win.

"The game was clearly ours to win and we had an opportunity with [Matheus] Cunha to finish the game off.
"It is really frustrating because you look at the game, you have the game under control and we didn't win."
Meanwhile, Dalot himself was asked why the Red Devils lacked control. He conceded that's something they need to discover if they're to enjoy a positive and successful campaign.
"It's the solution that we need to find," said the full-back.
"It can be various things. It shouldn't be like this because you are fighting 60 minutes to score a goal and then when it happens you should keep doing the same things, even more controlling, longer possession so we can be dominant.
"Especially the play that goes to the corner that we conceded - that's the kind of play that we need to avoid, especially against teams that are good on the counter.
"And we knew today that they were going to be looking for counter-attacks and set plays and unfortunately we couldn't hold the result but in the end we have to look to ourselves - I think it's more our fault, than credit to West Ham."

"Any time you have the opportunity to score for a club like this, it's amazing.
"Especially at the Stretford End. But in the end, the taste is not the same, I would change that for the three points without thinking.
"But I'm happy to help the team in any way, whether that's with a goal or whatever.
"But this type of result, it just gives you something to look at.
"We cannot be winning at home with 30 minutes to go and not controlling the game."
