Manchester United fear Bruno Fernandes will miss as many as six matches following his hamstring injury in the club's 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Portugal international was forced out of that match at half-time, with Lisandro Martinez coming on in his place.
United eventually went on to lose, with Morgan Rogers netting in either half to secure all three points for the home side.
Fernandes has been virtually ever-present for the Red Devils ever since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon back in the January transfer window of 2020.

Fernandes was spotted dining out with friends on Monday evening, with the Portugal international visiting Turquoise Restaraunt in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
