Kyle Walker's wife, Annie Kilner, has announced on social media that she has "decided to take some time away from" her Manchester City star husband.
The pair met as teenagers before tying the knot two years ago and have three children together.
But Kilner took to Instagram to confirm she had split with Walker, bringing an end to their tumultuous 12-year relationship.
She wrote: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight.

"Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.
"I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."
According to The Sun, Walker has moved out of their £2.4million mansion.
Speaking back in 2020, Kilner detailed how Walker "begged" her to take him back after his affair with Instagram influencer Lauryn Goodman.
She said: "He begged me to take him back but by July he was at it again.
"Not even three months later and someone was pregnant. My youngest was one.
"It was like a nightmare.
"Who does that? I don't know what my thoughts or feelings are anymore. I feel dead inside. Each day is filled with pain."

The City star has been accused of being unfaithful to his long-term partner multiple times throughout their relationship.
Goodman and Walker had a son called Kairo in 2020 before the England and City footballer got back together with Kilner.
Goodman revealed she was expecting her second child in March 2023 and, despite concealing the father's identity, confirmed they were a "footballer".

But she has since sparked speculation that Walker is the biological father of her second child by confirming her daughter's surname begins with W.
Goodman changed her Instagram bio to read: "Mummy to @kairowalker and KW."
Eagle-eyed social media users have noticed that Goodman has been 'liking' several posts alleging Walker is the father of her daughter.
