The 20-year-old has flourished for the club ever since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer

Los Blancos have been crowned champions of Spain for a record-extending 36th time after Barcelona lost 4-2 to Girona.

Xavi's side had entered the game knowing they needed to win to boost their faint chances of winning LaLiga alive.

But a brace from Portu and further strikes from Artem Dovbyk and Miguel Gutierrez gave Girona all three points and meant Real became champions.

Bellingham has played a key role in their success ever since touching down from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder, as well as Brahim Diaz and Joselu, all struck as Real beat Cadiz 3-0 at the Bernabeu on Saturday.

After the game, Bellingham took to social media.

And the 20-year-old posed for a picture with his mother, Denise, in front of an empty Bernabeu stadium.

David Beckham was among the famous names to comment on the post, with the former Real star saying: "Well done mate @judebellingham @realmadrid campeones."

He also accompanied his message with two love hearts.

Jadon Sancho, who is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund from Manchester United, reacted with raised hands and a love heart emoji.

Rapper Wretch32 said: "Congrats my bro well deserved you smashed this season."

And tennis stars Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic liked the post as well.

It was, however, a bittersweet day for Bellingham.

While he previously played for Dortmund, he actually started his career playing for Birmingham in the Championship.

The Blues have now been relegated, however, despite beating Norwich 1-0 on the final day of the season on Saturday.

Real will now turn their focus to Bayern Munich, with the two European giants set to meet in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The tie hangs in the balance after a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena earlier this week.

And Ancelotti has claimed his players are 'calm' ahead of one of the biggest matches of their season.

"Everyone has Wednesday’s game in mind. Players who play less have responded one hundred per cent.
