The experienced midfielder will complete his medical examinations and finalise the necessary paperwork over the weekend, according to The Athletic.
However, the official announcement of Henderson's move to Brentford will not come until next week. This delay is a mark of respect for his former team-mate Diogo Jota and his family, following the Liverpool player's tragic death at the age of 28 earlier this month.
The 28-year-old died in a car accident alongside his brother Andre. Henderson was among several former team-mates who paid tribute to Jota outside Anfield.

The midfielder joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq but his stint in the Middle East lasted just six months.
He subsequently signed for Ajax, where he featured in 57 matches for the Amsterdam club.

The west London club moved swiftly to secure the services of the experienced midfielder.
