The Liverpool legend appeared to be enjoying himself in the clip

Jamie Carragher might be known for his sharp analysis on Sky Sports, but over the weekend, the Liverpool legend showed a much more relaxed side by swapping the studio for a singalong on the London Underground.

The 47-year-old former defender was spotted among a lively group of Oasis fans following one of the band’s sold-out Wembley Stadium concerts.

Videos posted to TikTok show Carragher, donning a black Oasis bucket hat, swaying and singing along to Half The World Away on a packed Metropolitan Line train.

The clip, shared by user @gembeau84, captured the surreal moment on a carriage travelling between Baker Street and Great Portland Street.

Carragher, clearly enjoying himself, appeared a little worse for wear as he slurred the lyrics and laughed with fellow passengers.

Carragher wasn’t the only football figure enjoying the nostalgic return of one of Britain’s most iconic bands.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was also seen in the crowd at Oasis’s Manchester gig earlier in the tour.

With Premier League football just over a week away from resuming, Carragher will soon return to the punditry desk, providing analysis for Sky Sports as top-flight action kicks back into gear.
