Tottenham boss Igor Tudor brushed aside questions about his future in a tense post-match interview after Spurs snatched a dramatic late point away at Liverpool to halt their miserable run of defeats.
Richarlison struck in the 90th minute to earn Tottenham a deserved draw at Anfield, cancelling out Dominik Szoboszlai’s first-half free-kick and ending a run of six consecutive losses in all competitions.
The late equaliser sparked relief for Tudor, who said the result felt like 'fresh air' for a side battling to rebuild confidence amid injuries and pressure.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Croatian highlighted the resilience of his depleted squad after travelling to Merseyside without a host of first-team players.
“Nice – like some fresh air,” Tudor said when asked about the point. “It is good for the confidence of the players, everyone around the club and especially the fans.
“We showed a good team spirit considering the circumstances. We came to Anfield with 12 players absent.
“That is something big. We stayed in the game and believed we could score. I felt it and the players felt it as well.

“It is still a long way to our objective, which is staying in the Premier League. There are many games left, but today it was important to show the spirit and the honesty of the team. When you give everything, football can give you something back.”
Tudor had faced mounting criticism earlier in the week following Tottenham’s heavy 5-2 defeat at Atletico Madrid, but insisted speculation over his position has never crossed his mind.
“I have been coaching for 15 years and I have never thought one second about my future,” he said. “Not one second.

“If you spend energy thinking about what might happen, it gives you nothing. In football and in life, the key is focusing on now and what you can change.”
However, the interview ended abruptly when Tudor was questioned about comments he made during Friday’s press conference suggesting Tottenham supporters might need 'a new manager' to give them hope.
The Spurs boss rejected the interpretation and appeared frustrated by the line of questioning.
“That is not a question for me,” Tudor said. “You should ask about the players and how we play.
“It doesn’t make sense, but you keep insisting. I am obliged to come to these interviews otherwise I would stay at home. Always the same questions.

Tudor then walked away from the interview.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot, meanwhile, defended the reaction of the Anfield crowd after some supporters booed at full-time following the late equaliser.
“I think it is completely normal,” Slot said.
“If the team you support drop so many points in the last seconds of games like we have, then frustration is natural.
“Our fans have experienced this too many times this season. The frustration is felt by me, by the players and by the supporters as well.”
