The FA Cup draw has gone ahead with some big games to come

The FA Cup fifth round has thrown up a blockbuster encounter, with Newcastle United drawn at home against Manchester City in the standout fixture of the last sixteen.

Arsenal will travel to Field Mill to face League One side Mansfield Town, who produced one of the competition's most memorable results this weekend.

Monday evening's draw took place at Macclesfield's Moss Rose ground, confirming all eight ties for the next stage of the tournament.

The draw followed a weekend filled with cup drama across England, setting up several intriguing matchups as the competition reaches its business end.

Mansfield Town delivered the weekend's biggest shock, overcoming top-flight opposition Burnley despite falling behind at Turf Moor.

The Stags mounted an impressive recovery against the struggling Premier League outfit, with Louis Reeds proving the hero.

His stunning free-kick proved decisive as the third-tier side completed a 2-1 triumph to book their place in the last sixteen.

The victory represents a remarkable achievement for the League One club, who now face an even greater challenge when Mikel Arteta's Arsenal visit Nottinghamshire.

Their reward for eliminating Burnley is a home tie against one of the tournament favourites.

Macclesfield could yet surpass Mansfield's giant-killing exploits, with the sixth-tier Silkmen potentially hosting Premier League side Brentford in the fifth round.

The National League North club have already written their own piece of cup history this season, knocking out defending champions Crystal Palace in the third round.

Their fourth-round fixture against Brentford is scheduled to take place following Monday's draw, with the non-league outfit dreaming of another famous scalp.

Should Macclesfield complete the upset, they would face West Ham United in the next round, offering the tantalising prospect of another top-flight encounter for the Cheshire club.

One fourth-round tie remains unresolved, with Port Vale's home match against Bristol City postponed after the pitch at Vale Park became waterlogged.

The rearranged fixture will now take place on Tuesday, March 3, the earliest available date for both clubs.

The winner of that encounter will travel to face Sunderland in round five.

Elsewhere, Fulham host Southampton, Leeds United welcome Norwich City, and Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Liverpool at Molineux.

Wrexham will entertain Chelsea, while West Ham await the outcome of Macclesfield's clash with Brentford to discover their opponents.
