England have reportedly invited former manager Sven-Goran Eriksson to March's friendly against Brazil.
The Swede recently stated he would love to attend the match after revealing he had terminal cancer.
Eriksson said earlier this month that doctors have told him he had a year to live 'at best'.
He was diagnosed with cancer after he collapsed without warning, a day after he had been on a 5km run.

The 75-year-old vowed to continue fighting the illness and live the rest of his life to its fullest.
He told Sky News that one of his aims was to attend England's match against Brazil on March 23.
Eriksson said: "I hope maybe to go to England and see England-Brazil in March, that should be very nice, great game, like a warm-up for the World Cup.
"That could also be the final in the [2026] World Cup, so that would be great."
And it appears he will be granted that wish if he is well enough to travel to the UK.
The Daily Mail claims the FA have sent an invite to Eriksson for him to be a guest of honour.
Eriksson is yet to respond to the invitation but the FA hope he will be fit enough to do so.
He was in charge of England between 2001 and 2006, managing at three major tournaments.
Eriksson led the Three Lions to the quarter-final of the World Cup in 2002 but Ronaldinho grabbed the headlines and embarrassed David Seaman with a long-range free kick.
The friendly between England and Brazil falls on the same day as a match between Liverpool Legends and Ajax Legends at Anfield.
Eriksson is a lifelong Liverpool fan and revealed he would have loved to have managed the Merseyside club in his career.
Reds hero Robbie Fowler revealed that Eriksson had been offered the chance to manage the Legends team but it appears he may now have other arrangements at Wembley.

But Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said last week that he would happily allow Eriksson to spend a day at the club's training ground.
Klopp said: "It was obviously very touching news when you heard about it.
"I heard for the first time about his admiration or love for Liverpool and that he was a fan for his whole life.
"I heard now about the Legends [game] and stuff like that. I'm not in charge of that.

"The only thing I can say is absolutely he's very welcome to come here and he can sit in my seat in my office and do my job for a day if he wants. That's no problem.
"Being on the sideline might be a little bit more difficult. To have him here and show him everything and how this wonderful club developed over the years, I think that's definitely something we will tell him.
"He can come over and have a few wonderful hours here, I'm sure."
