The entire England squad has arrived in Barcelona to watch the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.

Ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Andorra on Saturday, June 7, England boss Thomas Tuchel took the whole squad to Spain to watch the race as a team bonding session.

The players were able to get up close and personal with drivers and their cars, with places reserved for the squad on the grid.

England captain Harry Kane was happy to entertain Sky Sports host Simon Lazenby, who was joined by former F1 star Nico Rosberg.

"I’m looking forward to the race," Kane said. "This is the first grand prix I’ve been to.”

“I’m looking forward to it. I watch the F1 as much as I can. A few of the English guys doing well this season, so I’m looking forward to seeing them."

Kane was then questioned by Rosberg, who proclaimed his love for Kane’s Bayern Munich and thanked the English international for his efforts in the German capital over the last two years.

In response to Rosberg asking who he was rooting for on the grid, Kane remained patriotic and stuck with his fellow countrymen.

“I love Lando [Norris],” the 31-year-old proclaimed. “He’s been doing great this year and obviously he has a great chance to win the Championship.

“I hope he can get himself in front today. Of course George [Russell] and Lewis [Hamilton] as well, it would be good to see them all on the podium.”

Rosberg asked if England’s record goalscorer had any advice for fellow compatriot Lando Norris.

He described Norris as being mentally “shaky” at times, which he called his “Achilles heel” - something that Kane himself has had to overcome at times during his career.

“For him, it’s all about preparations,” Kane explained. “I’m sure he’s prepared to the best of his ability, and then it’s just going out there and being free he knows he can do it. “He’s won enough already so hopefully he can go all the way.”

Lazenby and Rosberg then turned their attentions to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka but were not greeted quite as warmly.

As they approached the 23-year-old, he bluntly rejected the pair, saying: “I have nothing to say.”

Rosberg expressed his disappointment, jokingly claiming: “That was not very friendly!"

The moment was certainly awkward, with the duo were forced to move on from Saka.

Saka's refusal goes against F1 tradition, as guests invited onto the grid are expected to speak to reporters in an unwritten rule.

England face off against Andorra in their third 2026 World Cup qualifier on June 7.

The Three Lions are currently top of their qualification group, after convincing victories over Latvia and Albania in March without conceding a goal.

England then host Senegal in a friendly at the City Ground on June 10, shortly before the Club World Cup commences.

Manchester City and Chelsea will be England’s representation in the tournament, which starts on June 15 in the United States.
