Both teams have gone strong as they look to win the trophy

England and Spain's line-ups for tonight's Euro 2024 final have been confirmed.

Tonight's match is a massive event, with the Three Lions looking to win a first major trophy since the World Cup back in 1966.

England will be going up against a tough Spain side, however, who have won all six matches at their tournament so far.

Numerous outlets reported prior to kick off that England would stick with the same starting XI that beat the Netherlands on Wednesday night.

However, that hasn't happened with Gareth Southgate choosing to make just one change for the huge clash.

Luke Shaw has come into the side for Kieran Trippier, with the Manchester United defender finally getting his first start of the tournament.

Jordan Pickford starts in goal, with the Everton star set for a massive night.

Kyle Walker, Marc Guehi and John Stones make up England's back three for the clash.

In midfield, the Three Lions have gone with Declan Rice and Kobbie Mainoo - with Bukayo Saka and Shaw as wing-backs.

And Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham have been deployed behind Harry Kane.

Spain have gone with Unai Simon in goal, with Dani Carvajal, Robin Le Normand, Aymeric Laporte and Marc Cucurella making up a back four.

Rodri and Fabian Ruiz start in midfield, with Dani Olmo playing further ahead.

And Alvaro Morata will lead the lines with Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams deployed on the flanks.

Speaking before the game, Gareth Southgate urged his players to seize the chance to make history.

"I don't believe in fairy tales, but I do believe in dreams," he said.

"We need to make them come true. We’re on a good run. This is our moment, and tomorrow we have to perform as expected on the field.

"It's in our hands, and that's the most important thing.

"I'm not too worried about Spain. We know how they play.

"They press well, with intensity, they're a balanced team, and they keep possession very well.

"But in the last two games, we've shown a great version of ourselves, and hopefully, we can repeat that tomorrow."

Spain boss Luis de la Fuente, meanwhile, believes Yamal could be the difference in tonight's huge match.

"Lamine is a natural football talent on an exceptional scale. There are very few like him," he said.

"His greatness will be measured in how much he manages to stay even more humble each day.

"Football has so many ups and downs. One day you're being praised, the next criticised – a lot.

"He has to keep a balance and the maturity which allows you to avoid the great highs and the great lows.

"Because this is the history of football, it will always happen. The special thing right now is how difficult it is to do what he's doing at 16 with such naturalness.

"But our responsibility as those who help shape him, above and beyond coaching, is to help him maintain his values, humility, responsibility, professionalism.

"These things will make him an even better person as he grows up, and then an even better footballer.

"To our great fortune, he's Spanish and hopefully we'll be enjoying a great footballer, if he has luck, for a long time at the top of the world game."
