Former Tottenham star Darren Anderton has heaped praise on Dominic Solanke after the striker earned his first England call-up in seven years.
The forward moved to north London from Bournemouth back in the summer as a belated replacement for Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich in 2023.
Solanke took a little while to get going at Tottenham, with the forward cruelly sidelined through injury at the start of his new adventure.
He's since scored three goals in as many games, however, with his latest effort coming in Sunday's 3-0 win over Manchester United.

His fine form has seen him rewarded with his first England call-up in seven years.
And Anderton, speaking exclusively to GB News via Free Bets, has now hailed Solanke while backing him to score goals galore for Tottenham in the coming weeks, months and years ahead.
"Solanke looks like he has now recovered from the injury he had earlier in the season and looking sharp," he said.
"It’s great he has got off the scoresheet and looks a real threat up front.

"It’s exciting for Spurs he is the talisman to score the goals this season.
"I wouldn’t go as far as to say he is the true Kane replacement, but he is the No 9 that Spurs have been looking for and can score plenty of goals."

Anderton thinks the 23-year-old is up there with the best centre-backs in the Premier League.
And he feels that Van de Ven's presence in the squad is a huge asset to Tottenham as they look to secure Champions League football for next season.
"He is doing wonders for himself and Spurs and is a top centre back," he said.
"To have the pace he does, with the technical defending ability, is excellent.

Meanwhile, Sunday's win eased some of the pressure on Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian was widely mocked by fans for telling people he always wins something in his second season during a tense interview with Sky Sports following his side's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the north London derby.
