David Raya pulled off an incredible double-save from an Atalanta penalty to save Arsenal's bacon in the Champions League.
Arsenal looked toothless in attack and did not have a shot from the 18th minute to the 74th minute.
And Atalanta had the perfect opportunity to take all three points at the Gewiss Stadium when Thomas Partey was adjudged to have fouled Ederson in the box.
Mateo Retegui stepped up to take the resulting penalty and hit his effort low to his left.
But Raya was equal to the effort and saved brilliant before the ball bobbled up to Retegui, who was happy to gobble up the rebound.
As he headed into the ground, Raya came out of nowhere to palm it away before Declan Rice ushered the ball out of play.
The Arsenal players reacted by grabbing Raya and celebrating with him while the Spaniard roared into the Italian night.
And Gunners fans were full of praise for the former Brentford star, who has started the campaign in fine fettle after conceding just once in five matches.
