Cole Palmer appeared furious during Chelsea’s Club World Cup semi-final against Fluminense, despite cruising to a 2-0 victory.
Two spectacular efforts from new-boy Joao Pedro secured the win for the Blues, with both efforts coming from the edge of the box with his right boot.
The Brazilian chose not to celebrate in front of his former employers, despite the two screamers being his first goals for the club.
Pedro now poses as the latest No 9 that Chelsea have added to their squad, as they look to find a consistent goalscorer.

The 23-year-old has also been joined at Stamford Bridge by English youngster Liam Delap, who arrived for half of his Brazilian counterpart’s price tag, with the pair set to battle it out for the striker’s position this season.
One man who has been left behind, after a somewhat lacklustre season that also demonstrated his naivety and lack of discipline, is Nicolas Jackson.
And it was the Senegalese that enraged Palmer during Chelsea’s semi-final victory over Fluminense.

Jackson nicked the ball off a Fluminense defender to send himself through on goal, but the striker was at a difficult angle and beating goalkeeper Fabio would have taken a spectacular effort.
Fortunately, the 23-year-old had Palmer in the middle as an option to square the ball for a simple tap-in for the midfielder - an option he did not take.
Instead, Jackson went for goal and missed the target at the near post, causing Palmer to kick the goalpost out of frustration and angrily question his team-mate’s decision to ignore him.

The frustration has been an all-too-common theme for Jackson during his Chelsea career, who has had a turbulent spell at the club.
Since making his £35million move from Villarreal in 2023, Jackson has scored 30 goals, including 24 in the Premier League.
The former Villarreal striker endured a decent campaign under Maresca, but ended the season on a bitter note after seeing red for a shocking elbow on Newcastle’s Sven Botman in a crucial six-pointer for Champions League football.

Jackson also saw red in the Club World Cup after his awful stamp during their match against Flamengo.
With Jackson now third in the striking pecking order, his eyes could well be elsewhere.
Serie A giants AC Milan are rumoured to be interested in the forward, after their woeful campaign in which they finished eighth.
With six-time Serie A champion Max Allegri back in charge of the Rossoneri, the move could be an attractive offer for the striker.
But, with Pedro’s impressive debut, Palmer will be hoping to see the Brazilian square the ball to him next time to avoid any further furious outbursts on the pitch.
