Controversial women's footballer Sam Kerr, who was found not guilty of racial aggravated harassment last year, marked her final Chelsea match with a goal.
The Australian striker found the net in spectacular fashion this afternoon, firing home a brilliant near-post volley to seal a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Lauren James delivered a deep cross from the right, and Kerr met it perfectly, whipping the ball past goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce eleven minutes before the break.
It was her 65th WSL goal for the Blues and her 116th in all competitions, leaving her level with Fran Kirby as Chelsea's all-time leading scorer.

"It's an amazing day," Kerr told Sky Sports afterwards. "Kind of fitting to play against Manchester United, a team I've scored so many of my favourite goals against."
The win wasn't quite enough to secure the finish Chelsea had hoped for, though.
Arsenal's 3-1 triumph at Liverpool meant the Gunners held onto second place, pushing the Blues down to third in the final WSL standings.
It's a bitter pill to swallow for Sonia Bompastor's side, who have now lost their grip on the league title for the first time in seven years.
More importantly, third place means Chelsea won't automatically qualify for next season's Champions League league phase. Instead, they'll have to navigate the play-offs to earn their spot in Europe's top competition.

"We did what we could control, win the game - that was really important but was not enough unfortunately because Arsenal won," Bompastor said after the match.
Kerr made it clear she'll always cherish her time in west London.
"I wanted to come out here and have fun like I always do. I enjoyed every minute today," she said. "Chelsea and London will always be home to me now. It's going to be hard to leave but I only have good things to say about this amazing club."
The 31-year-old's departure comes after a turbulent period off the pitch. Back in February last year, a jury at Kingston Crown Court cleared her of racially aggravated harassment following an incident in Twickenham in January 2023.
Kerr had admitted calling a Metropolitan Police officer "stupid and white" but denied it constituted a racial offence. She said she had been "antagonised" by officers after being taken to a police station following a taxi dispute.
