Manchester United have secured the services of Bryan Mbeumo in a deal worth up to £71 million, bringing an end to protracted discussions with Brentford.
The Red Devils will pay £65million spread across four instalments for the 25-year-old attacking player, with an additional £6million potentially due through performance-related bonuses tied to both collective and personal accomplishments.
The transfer represents a significant investment by the Old Trafford hierarchy, who saw two previous offers turned down before meeting Brentford's asking price.
