Arsenal extended their advantage at the Premier League summit to seven points following a comprehensive 2-0 triumph at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The victory marked the Gunners' ninth consecutive success across all competitions and preserved their unblemished record at Burnley in the Premier League era.
First-half strikes from Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice sealed the three points for Mikel Arteta's side, who now boast 25 points from their opening 10 matches.
The result leaves second-placed Bournemouth, who are scheduled to play on Sunday, trailing on 18 points.

The north London club's latest triumph also delivered their seventh successive clean sheet in all competitions.
Gyokeres broke the deadlock after 14 minutes, converting from close range following Arsenal's latest set-piece routine.
Rice delivered a curling corner to the far post where Gabriel headed back across goal for the Swedish striker to tap home his fourth league goal of the campaign.
The visitors doubled their advantage in the 35th minute through a flowing counter-attack. After clearing a Burnley throw-in deep in their own territory, Arsenal swept forward with Leandro Trossard providing the cross for Rice to power a header into the top corner.
Martin Dubravka prevented a larger deficit, producing two excellent saves to deny Bukayo Saka in one-on-one situations.

Arsenal's defensive organisation proved impenetrable once more, with the visitors recording their seventh clean sheet in 11 league fixtures this campaign.
Their last goal conceded in any competition came during September's 2-1 victory at Newcastle.
Burnley managed their first attempt on target in the 73rd minute when Florentino Luis headed over from Maxime Esteve's flick-on.
The hosts, who had secured consecutive league victories before Arsenal's visit, struggled to test the Gunners' backline throughout.
Late opportunities fell to substitute Ethan Nwaneri, who fired narrowly wide after a mazy run, whilst Marcus Edwards struck a post with a stoppage-time free-kick for the home side.
Mikel Arteta expressed satisfaction with his team's display, particularly highlighting their first-half excellence.
"The first half was exceptional, we scored two goals and gave nothing away. That was the platform," the Arsenal manager said.

The Spaniard acknowledged a slight dip in control after the interval but praised his side's defensive resilience. "We had to make a few changes and didn't have that much control in the second half. Defending was exceptional again, we didn't give anything."
Arteta noted Burnley's impressive home form, stating: "There is a reason they have lost one game in 18 months here, against Liverpool in the last second of the game."
Arsenal now turn their attention to Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Slavia Prague.
