Ange Postecoglou has bemoaned what has been a "disrupting" week after he saw his Nottingham Forest side fall to a 3-0 defeat at the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.
The Australian, who was appointed as Forest boss just four days ago after the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo, acknowledged the disappointment of suffering a loss to the Gunners, though he refused to criticise his players' commitment.
"Obviously, it's disappointing for us," the Australian told TNT Sports following the defeat. "They are a good side. It's tough opposition and I can't fault the lads, I thought they tried really hard."
The former Tottenham manager conceded his team struggled to control the match, particularly after conceding immediately following half-time.

"We really couldn't get to grips of the game and the second goal straight after the break really unsettled us. It's a disappointing outcome but I can't fault the efforts of the lads.
"This week was really disrupting for the players and it was an international break as well.

"I'm trying to introduce new things as the new manager and they haven't got clarity at the moment, but that's something we will get into over the next few weeks."
Despite the challenges, he expressed confidence in his squad's quality, stating: "They are a really good bunch of players."
