Andre Onana has been criticised by Paul Scholes after making two costly mistakes in Manchester United's 2-2 Europa League draw with Lyon on Thursday night.
The Cameroon international became embroiled in a spat with Nemanja Matic before the match, meaning all eyes were on him in France last night.
Onana was dubbed one of the worst goalkeepers in United's history by Matic, who previously spent five years at Old Trafford between 2017 and 2022.
The goalkeeper hit back on social media by saying that, unlike Matic, he'd actually won a trophy with the club.

Last night, however, Onana toiled.
The former Inter Milan and Ajax goalkeeper should have done better with Thiago Almada's free kick, which managed to sail through a sea of bodies and into the net.
And Onana spilt a shot late on, with Rayan Cherki able to capitalise by converting from close range.
Scholes, speaking at half time, ripped into Onana.

The TNT Sports pundit said: "He’s probably wishing he kept his mouth shut. Awful mistake."
And Scholes also criticised Onana at full time, with the United legend failing to mince his words.
“I think he was more so at fault for the first, a huge mistake, a little harder but he has to do better than that," he continued.
“On the whole [it is] the right result. Lyon played the better football and created more opportunities, but [after] scoring so late, United will be disappointed and they are in a good position at home, [so] they should still be big favourites but they will have to improve.”
“I don’t think he likes his team to be honest..."

Scholes was asked if United should consider replacing Onana.
They spent big on the Cameroon international in 2023 after deciding that David de Gea, a club icon, was past his best.
Onana has regularly struggled at United, however, with the 27-year-old continuing to look a shadow of the player he was at Inter.
Scholes, when quizzed about United potentially selling Onana, stated: “Yeah, I think it’s something they need to think about [replacing Onana].

“But they need to look at the budget as well. Can you get away with not spending that money on a goalkeeper?
“He hasn’t been quite good enough but it will come down to money and what Amorim has got to spend.
“We’ve seen this goalkeeper do well at Inter Milan as well. But I don’t think his distribution has been great either, and that’s one of the reasons he was brought in.
“But can you almost get away with not spending another £40m on a goalkeeper? I don’t know. Ruben Amorim has a lot of problems to solve.”
