There has been plenty of drama in the Champions League over the years.
But, on Wednesday night, Anatoliy Trubin etched his own name into the history books - and became a Benfica legend in the process.
With his side winning 3-2 against Real Madrid, the largest of all the European giants, Trubin went forward for a free-kick knowing his side needed a goal to stay in the prestigious competition.
And the Ukrainian then produced the goods, with his header sailing past Thibaut Courtois and into the net.

For Real Madrid, the result was a disaster. They'll now need to navigate the Champions League play-offs to ensure they remain on course for another European triumph.
For Benfica and Trubin, however, it will rank as one of the finest moments of the past few years.
GB News will now take a look at five other times goalkeepers have come up with something special to save their teams, just when they appear destined to face pain and heartbreak.
1) Alisson Becker (Liverpool vs. West Bromwich Albion, 2021)

With Liverpool's season on the brink of failure and the score tied in the 95th minute, Alisson Becker defied defensive caution to join the attack for a final corner.
He found space in the crowded penalty area and met Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross with a glancing header of exceptional quality to snatch a draw against West Brom.
The ball sailed into the far corner, securing a critical victory that eventually allowed Liverpool to qualify for the Champions League.
It was the first time a Liverpool goalkeeper had ever scored in a competitive match, sending the coaching staff into a frenzy.
Alisson later dedicated the emotional winner to his late father, making the moment poignant as well as historic.

In arguably the most dramatic finish to an English league season, Carlisle United needed a win on the final day to avoid dropping out of the Football League.
Deep in stoppage time with the score locked at 1-1, on-loan goalkeeper Jimmy Glass sprinted forward for a last-gasp corner kick.
The ball rebounded off a defender and fell perfectly to Glass, who smashed a first-time volley into the net to save the club from relegation.
The goal sparked an immediate pitch invasion, instantly turning a goalkeeper who played only three games for the club into a cult hero.
It remains the defining "Roy of the Rovers" moment in lower-league football history.
3) Andrés Palop (Sevilla vs. Shakhtar Donetsk, 2007)
Sevilla were trailing in this UEFA Cup Round of 16 tie and facing elimination when they won a corner in the 94th minute.
Andrés Palop left his goal unguarded and traveled the length of the pitch, managing to lose his marker near the penalty spot.
He rose to meet the delivery with a powerful header that flew into the bottom corner, forcing the match into extra time.
Sevilla went on to win the tie and eventually the tournament, a victory that many credit with starting their era of European dominance.
Palop later revealed he simply mimicked the movement he had watched his teammates practice in training.
4) Alberto Brignoli (Benevento vs. AC Milan, 2017)

Benevento had lost their first 14 consecutive Serie A matches, a record for the worst start in top-flight history, when they hosted giants AC Milan.
Trailing 2-1 in the 95th minute, goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli threw himself at a desperate free-kick delivery with his eyes closed.
He connected with a sensational diving header that skimmed past Gianluigi Donnarumma, earning the minnows their first-ever Serie A point.
The goal ruined Gennaro Gattuso’s debut as Milan manager and was celebrated like a championship victory by the home fans.
Brignoli described the finish as a "striker’s movement," though he admitted it was pure instinct.
5) Ivan Provedel (Lazio vs. Atlético Madrid, 2023)
In the dying seconds of a Champions League group stage opener, Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel ventured forward with his team trailing 1-0.
After an initial corner was cleared, the ball was whipped back into the box, where Provedel made a sharp, striker-like run between two defenders.
He glanced a perfect header into the net to snatch a 1-1 draw, sending the Stadio Olimpico into raptures.
He became only the fourth goalkeeper in history to score in the Champions League and the first to do so from open play in over a decade.
The goal was all the more impressive because Provedel remained stoic and calm while his teammates mobbed him in disbelief.
