The legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson arrived at day three of the Cheltenham Festival on Thursday, accompanied by iconic British actor James Nesbitt.
The 84-year-old appeared relaxed and in good spirits as he made his way into the racecourse grounds.
Sir Alex has a busy afternoon ahead with two of his horses competing today.
Regent's Stroll will run in the Jack Richards Novices' Handicap Chase, scheduled for 2pm.

Later in the day, Il Ridoto is entered in the Kim Muir Challenge Cup Amateurs' Handicap Chase, the final race of the afternoon at 5:20pm.
Nesbitt, the Northern Irish actor, rose to fame as Adam Williams in the romantic comedy-drama series Cold Feet before becoming a major Hollywood name.
During the festival, Sir Alex was spotted greeting former England rugby international Mike Tindall with a warm handshake.
The Scottish football icon's week at Cheltenham began yesterday when L'Eau du Sud, with jockey Harry Skelton in the saddle, competed in the BetMGM Queen Mother Champion Chase.

The horse secured a third-place finish, crossing the line behind winner Il Etait Temps and runner-up Libberty Hunter.
The legendary Scottish football boss has a longstanding enthusiasm for horse racing, with the former Old Trafford boss having travelled extensively over the years to watch his horses compete at various meetings.
Sir Alex is far from the only former football manager drawn to the Cheltenham Festival this week.
Harry Redknapp, 79, was also present on day two alongside his wife Sandra.

Meanwhile, two of Sir Alex's former Manchester United captains, Steve Bruce and Bryan Robson, were among those attending on Thursday.
The Scottish manager has enjoyed success at the festival previously, celebrating a victory last year with Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall by his side.
On that occasion, Ferguson was visibly delighted as Caldwell Potter triumphed in the Richards Novice Limited Handicap Chase, prompting jubilant celebrations from the football legend.
