Alan Shearer’s daughter Chloe has announced her engagement to former professional rugby player Micky Young.
The proposal took place at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle, where the couple have strong personal ties, and was shared publicly by Chloe in a post on Instagram.
Her caption, “Forever YOUNG,” referenced the surname she will take after marriage.
Young, 36, is best known for his time as a scrum-half with Newcastle Falcons, the club where he spent a significant portion of his career.

He also played for Leicester Tigers and Bath in the Premiership and was regarded as a lively and skilful half-back during his playing days.
