Veteran broadcaster Alan Brazil was forced to leave the talkSPORT breakfast programme on Thursday morning after becoming unwell during the live show.
The 66-year-old former Manchester United and Scotland striker had been presenting alongside Gabriel Agbonlahor when he departed the studio.
Following a commercial break roughly two-and-a-half hours into the broadcast, Agbonlahor informed listeners of his co-host's sudden absence.
"You're listening to the talkSPORT Breakfast with me, Gabby. Big Alan Brazil is feeling a bit poorly, but he'll be back as soon as he can," the former Aston Villa forward announced.

They has since confirmed that Brazil is recovering well and is scheduled to return to the airwaves next Wednesday.
Katie Shanahan, who had earlier presented the station's Early Breakfast slot between 5am and 6am, was brought in to continue the programme alongside Agbonlahor.
Approximately 15 minutes after the initial announcement about Brazil's departure, Shanahan offered reassurance to concerned listeners.

"Alan Brazil is currently feeling a bit poorly but don't worry listeners, he's okay," she told the audience.
The pair went on to complete the remainder of the morning show together, with former Premier League midfielder Vinnie Jones joining them as a guest later in the broadcast.
talkSPORT also announced changes to the presenting lineup for the coming days. Shebahn Aherne will join Ray Parlour for Friday's breakfast programme, which runs from 6am until 10am.
The regular Monday and Tuesday shows will proceed as normal, with Jeff Stelling and Ally McCoist taking the hosting duties.
Brazil has been a fixture on talkSPORT's weekday breakfast show since the station first launched in 2000.
His role was adjusted in 2020, when he began sharing presenting responsibilities with Laura Woods, and subsequently with Stelling.
