After the sacking, Rosberg made sure to ask the advocate for the firing 18 months ago if he had anything to do with it: "Last year, you said Horner needs to go because he’s destroying the team."
Verstappen was quick to rebut the former Mercedes driver’s comments. "That was one-and-a-half years ago," said the 53-year-old. "It’s different. I have nothing to say. It’s fine."
Rosberg then said: "Now you are quiet," to which Verstappen replied: "I'm always quiet."
That interaction has caused a few heads to turn within the paddock, according to reports. It is believed that many people have complained to Sky Sports that the 40-year-old’s behaviour was “unacceptable.”
Many have questioned whether Rosberg should have been conducting interviews on the grid before the cold-shouldered, interacting with the father of the reigning world champion.

Martin Brundle is usually the go-to reporter for Sky Sports grid walks, and the legendary pundit was in attendance, raising questions about whether the situation could have been avoided had it been the veteran on track before the start of the race.
Sky has a history of butting heads with the Milton Keynes-based team, as the team was extremely unhappy with the way the broadcaster handled the controversial end won the 2021 season, in which Max Verstappen claimed his first title in dubious fashion, at the expense of seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton.

The incident with Rosberg isn’t the only thing Sky is in hot water for, as Sky Sports Germany have been shunned by Aston Martin on multiple occasions, as a result of what the team believes in negative coverage.
They have refused to give interviews to the channel and turned down multiple requests from Sky to speak to them during the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.

Sky tried to speak with chief trackside officer Mike Krack, but according to Bild, they were blocked from doing so. As well as team owner Lawrence Stroll rejected a conversation live on air, leading to Ralf Schumacher saying: "I know they’re not giving us any more interviews because they don’t like us that much at the moment."
The broadcaster will have a few weeks before the Dutch Grand Prix begins at the end of August, where they will be hoping many teams will cool off and begin to allow them access to their stars for the viewers' sake.
