Max Verstappen is reportedly talking to four different F1 teams as Red Bull continues to struggle.
The reigning world champion is having discussions with McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin for a move in 2026 and beyond, according to FIA steward Derek Warwick.
Red Bull have been struggling to compete with McLaren this season, with the Dutchman having to do extraordinary things to put his Red Bull in a competitive position.
Verstappen has spent his entire career within the Red Bull family, winning four world championships together.

PAHowever, this season Red Bull only sits fourth in the constructors standings a long way away from championship leaders McLaren.
Christian Horner and the rest of the Milton Keynes team have been struggling to find performance to close the gap to the papaya cars, leading to Verstappen’s future being in question with the team.

Aston Martin has been linked with a big-money move for the four-time world champion, while Mercedes tried very hard to sign the Dutchman last season and are yet to announce their 2026 line-up.
According to the FIA steward Warwick, those aren’t the only two teams looking for his signature.

PA“Well, obviously he's talking to every team, but when you say every team, that's only really McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, and maybe Aston Martin,” he told Plejmo.
“Aston would be a big gamble, but they do have Adrian Newey there. Mercedes will always be there or thereabouts, although they've had a lean period for them these last three years. If I was Mercedes, would I want to get rid of George or Kimi?

“I think the answer to that is no, but the trouble is when you've got arguably the fastest driver in Formula One knocking on your door, I think he can open most doors.
"I think the big, big paycheck would come from Aston Martin if that's what he's interested in. I think at the end of the day he'll stay at Red Bull.”
Others seem to think a shock retirement may be on the cards for the Dutchman, his former mechanic Calum Nicholas seems to think it could be as soon as the end of this season.
Christian Horner may be about to lose his star driver
GETTYDuring an interview on Lucas Stewart’s YouTube Channel, Nicholas was asked how many titles Verstappen would win in F1.
“Five,” he replied. “I think Max is going to win the Drivers’ [Championship] this year, and then I think he’s going to call it a day.”
While speculation around his future will continue, Verstappen will have to refocus himself to put together some good results, starting in Montreal where the drivers will hit the track for the Canadian Grand Prix.
