Lewis Hamilton shared a heartfelt post as he expressed his gratitude after participating as one of the co-chairs for this year’s Met Gala.
The Ferrari Formula 1 driver took to the floor in a sharp white suit and matching beret, taking to social media to explain what it meant to him as he wrote: ‘Now we’re seen’.
The theme of this year’s Met Gala was ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,’ inspired by Monica Miller’s work, which includes her book Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
The seven-time World Champion wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s hard to put into words what it means to co-chair this year’s Met.

He carried on stating, “I’m deeply grateful to the Costume Institute at The Met, to Grace Wales Bonner, to the incredible co-chairs, and to everyone who continues to honour the legacy of the Black Dandy.
