Lando Norris experienced his maiden Formula E event in Monaco over the weekend, and the reigning Formula One world champion came away thoroughly impressed by what he witnessed.
The British driver expressed enthusiasm for the all-electric series, highlighting its thrilling nature and the calibre of competitors on the grid.
"This is the first ever [Formula E] race I've been to and I'm excited!" Norris told Formula E.
He praised the unpredictable action, stating: "There's always chaos, always carnage and [it's] always unpredictable - everything you want from racing."

Norris also emphasised his connections to many current Formula E competitors, noting he had grown up racing alongside several of them and describing the driver lineup as "top class athletes, some of the best in the world."
The defending champion disclosed his intention to get behind the wheel of a Formula E machine in the near future.
Norris attended the Monaco race as a guest of Jake Dennis, who previously claimed the series title, and has been gathering insights from those with direct experience.
"I was planning to do a bit of driving in a Formula E car at some point," Norris explained. "I've spoken to Jake and a few of the other guys who've driven here."
While acknowledging the differences between the two championships, the McLaren star believes valuable lessons can still be extracted from consulting drivers competing at the highest level of electric racing.

| GETTYThe Monaco event attracted a host of celebrities beyond the motorsport world.
Hollywood star Idris Elba was spotted at the circuit, dressed in a white shirt and black trousers while examining Formula E's forthcoming Gen4 car, which will debut next season.
British Olympic legends Paula Radcliffe and Daley Thompson were also in attendance, receiving a personal welcome from Formula E chief executive Jeff Dodds.
Scottish model Rebecca Donaldson attended alongside her partner, Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, while American influencer Olivia Ponton was among the other guests trackside.
Broadcasting duties were handled by familiar faces including David Coulthard, Jamie Chadwick and Karun Chandhok.
