He was vacationing in Greece alongside friends and his partner Eliska Babickova when the maritime mishap unfolded, leaving him dependent on others for his safe return to shore.
One of Antonelli's companions documented the rescue on TikTok, sharing footage of the stranded driver being towed behind another watercraft.

The video's caption, originally posted in Italian, stated: "POV: giving Kimi Antonelli a ride because he ran out of fuel."
The recording showed Antonelli standing on his powerless jet ski, which was connected by rope to a speedboat operated by his friends.
Despite the predicament, the young driver appeared in good spirits, conversing with his rescuers as they pulled him to safety.
Antonelli has been spending his break from racing in Greece with partner Eliska Babickova, who shared photographs of their Mediterranean getaway on social media earlier this week.
The teenage driver's holiday respite comes amid a difficult period in his debut F1 campaign.
After showing early promise with a pole position in Miami's Sprint race and a third-place finish in Canada, Antonelli has struggled to maintain momentum.
His performances have notably declined since the European leg of the season began, managing just a single point across seven races on the continent.
