Geri Halliwell has put on a united front with Christian Horner in the first two races of the F1 season.

Geri Halliwell reportedly wants to go on a 'solo trip' without her husband Christian Horner to clear her head over the saga that has engulfed the Red Bull boss.

Horner has been defiant in the face of allegations against him after a female employee raised complaints of 'inappropriate behaviour'.

The 50-year-old was cleared by an investigation at Red Bull, but the saga has continued to evolve since then with messages purporting to be between Horner and the female employee being leaked to the media and F1 bosses.

Jos Verstappen has called Horner's position 'untenable' and Red Bull were forced to issue a statement denying any suggestion the team principal was facing the sack.

Halliwell has stuck by Horner's side throughout and she's shown a united front with her husband at the opening two races of the season.

She appeared in Bahrain at the start of the month holding hands with Horner as she entered the paddock with the married couple kissing in front of the cameras.

Halliwell was back in the F1 paddock in Saudi Arabia to stand alongside Horner as Max Verstappen made it two consecutive wins to start the new season.

There's now a two-week break before the third race of the season in Australia and Halliwell has returned to the UK.

She was spotted in public for the first time without Horner at the Commonwealth Day Service on Monday.

The 51-year-old now reportedly has her sights set on going on a 'solo trip' without her husband 'once the dust settles'.

That's according to a source with Heat magazine, who claims Halliwell is continuing to stick by Horner's side.

It's claimed that Horner 'understands the strain' the saga has had on his wife.

Halliwell is said to want some time away and out of the spotlight, although she 'doesn't want it to look like she is running away from it'.

The Spice Girl singer supposedly feels she could 'come back feeling stronger than ever'.

Horner has regularly praised the support his wife and family have shown him throughout the investigation.

But the Red Bull team principal appeared fed up with the continued questions over his personal life during last week's press conference in Saud Arabia.

“I think an awful lot has been made out of this,” he said.

“Obviously, it has been of great interest in different elements of the media for different reasons. I think the time now is to look forward and draw a line under it.

“We are here to go racing, we are here as a Formula 1 team, and the time now is to focus on what is going on track and the performance of the cars and the drivers, where the spotlight should be during the course of a Grand Prix weekend.

“The scrutiny on my marriage - I've got a beautiful family - it's been very trying. When there [are] children involved, and family involved, it's not pretty.

"My wife has been phenomenally supportive. The intrusion on my family is enough. It's time to focus on why we are here.”
