The Red Bull chief denies allegations of inappropriate behaviour and is currently working as normal as the start of the new Formula One season nears

Mel B has revealed the Spice Girls are sending messages of support to Geri Halliwell amid the probe into her husband, Christian Horner.

Horner has been accused of inappropriate behaviour, something the 50-year-old categorically denies.

The Red Bull chief is currently working as usual, with the F1 supremo attending testing in Bahrain this week ahead of the new series.

Halliwell, reports have claimed, has 'gone to ground' amid the ongoing saga with Horner adamant he'll be able to clear his name.

And Mel B, speaking to The Sun, has revealed the Spice Girls are showing support for Geri while the process goes on.

“We have a WhatsApp group and we have sent messages," said the 48-year-old.

Geri is normally by Horner's side at every race, with Red Bull currently the best team in F1.

They have dominated the sport over the past three years, with Max Verstappen winning a staggering 19 races from a possible 22 last year.

It is not known, however, if Geri will jet out to Bahrain when the first race of the season commences next weekend.

For many people at Red Bull, it is business as normal.

And Verstappen has admitted a swift conclusion to the saga is in the best interests of all parties, with the 26-year-old focused on securing more success this year.

"I mean in terms of talking about that, it's not that suddenly sat here, that I can speak about things," he admitted earlier this week.

"So it's better that I just focus on my own performance because that's already the day job.

"But I guess, of course, for everyone, it's nice, of course, when things are resolved. But that's the only thing that I can say about that.

"Everyone who is here, they're all focusing on the performance of the car, as they should.

"Everyone knows their role and everyone is very focused on trying to make the whole package faster."

Verstappen impressed in testing on Wednesday, with Red Bull making major changes to their RB20 vehicle.

And the Dutch-Belgian driver is happy with the vehicle so far as he looks to add another crown to his growing collection.

"I think overall it was a very good first day," he said.

"I couldn't really wish for more, I was actually wishing for less laps.

"But no, I did a lot of laps, everything went well, the balance was very nice.

"We tried quite a few things on the car, also for me to understand moving forward, completed the whole programme without any problems, so for me that was really good."

He continued: "I trust the team, to be honest, that they make the right decisions in terms of choosing the direction of the car.

"I saw of course, how it had already been drawn at the end of the of last year, but honestly, I don't care how the car looks like as long as it's fast.

"And also when I saw it for the first time fully built together, I was like, 'whatever shape it has, right?'

"I go and sit in the car and once you drive out, you feel quite quickly if it feels quite normal or not.

"Unfortunately, our filming day was only wet, so you don't really know anything. But as soon as I jumped in here, it felt pretty normal.

"It looks a bit different, but it's the direction that the team chose, and I believe that that's the best direction to go into if they say so.

"And from my side now, it's all about just giving my feedback about balance of the car, what I think can be improved, but that's anyway an ongoing process with the car."
