The F1 chief denies allegations against his name and is continuing to work as normal ahead of the new F1 season

Geri Halliwell is reportedly 'in on all of the lawyers' calls' as she stands by Christian Horner amid Red Bull's current investigation into the 50-year-old.

Horner strongly denies allegations of inappropriate behaviour and is adamant he'll be able to clear his name following complaints by a female member of staff.

Reports have suggested Geri is struggling to cope and has 'gone to ground' while the process plays out.

Horner, for his part, is working as normal with the start of the new Formula One season creeping closer.

And the Daily Mail say Geri remains 'loyal' to her husband and is 'in on calls from the lawyer' while the saga goes on.

"I believe she is in on all the lawyers’ calls," an insider is quoted as saying. "Christian has been telling her that everything is fine, and will be fine — but she just wants it to go away.

"It’s a real problem as her focus is absolutely him. She is completely loyal to him; that remains."

Geri and Horner married in Bedfordshire back in 2015 and have become one of the biggest power couples in the sporting world in the time since.

The Spice Girls star never misses a race, though it's currently unclear if she'll attend next week's opener in Bahrain.

Earlier in the week, some publications claimed Geri had 'unfollowed' David Beckham and Victoria Beckham on Instagram.

But her publicist, per the newspaper, says it would be 'inaccurate' to say this is the case.

Geri, at the current moment in time, continues to follow the pair - along with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.

There have been claims Horner's relationship with Verstappen's father, Jos, is 'badly damaged' despite the success of the team in recent years.

Verstappen has established himself as one of the best drivers in F1 history in recent years, winning three titles on the spin.

Some close to Horner think he is a pawn in a current power struggle at the F1 giants.

And he's adamant he'll be able to clear his name and be able to continue working in the role he's occupied ever since his appointment back in 2005.

Earlier this week, testing took place in Bahrain prior to the opening race of the season.

Verstappen and Red Bull impressed on the grid, suggesting they'll be the ones to beat in the sport again this term.

And Horner said he was 'dreadfully sorry' that he couldn't answer any questions on the ongoing investigation.

He said: “As you are well aware there is a process going on which I form part of, and as I form part of that process, I am afraid I cannot comment on it.”

When quizzed further, he added: “I am dreadfully sorry but I really can’t comment on the process or the timescale.

“Everybody would like a conclusion as soon as possible.

"But I am really not at liberty to comment about the process.”

The FIA, the series' governing body, say they won't be commenting on the matter.

“In relation to the independent investigation currently being undertaken by Red Bull GMbH, the FIA reiterates that until such time as the investigation has concluded and the outcome is known, we will not be commenting further," they said in a statement earlier this week.

“The FIA remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness and inclusivity within the sport.”
