Martin Brundle feels Red Bull would be able to cope in the immediate future if Christian Horner is dismissed because of three-time world champion Max Verstappen.
Horner was placed under investigation by Red Bull's Austrian parent company earlier this month after a female employee made an allegation of inappropriate behaviour against him.
The Red Bull team principal was interviewed by a specialist barrister on February 9, which was held at a secret location as opposed to the team's headquarters in Milton Keynes.
Horner has denied the allegations against him and insists it has been "business as usual".

Red Bull officials originally hoped that the investigation would be concluded before the team's car launch on February 15, but no resolution has been reached with just days until the season-opening race in Bahrain.
Brundle admits to being in the dark on the nature of the allegations against Horner.
But if Horner does eventually lose his job at Red Bull due to the investigation then Brundle doesn't think it will have an immediate impact on the team with Verstappen at the peak of his powers."
Christian Horner's been pivotal to Red Bull's success," Brundle said on Sky Sports.
"I know absolutely nothing about the current situation. I'm as confused as anybody else in Formula One what it's all about.
"It's obviously quite serious, quite heavyweight."
He added: "I think the problem Red Bull have is the fact Dietrich Mateschitz was the final arbiter of any key decision and they followed him.
"He said jump and they said how high.

"I think you're already seeing some of - is chaos too strong a word - but disruption let's call it from that point on in 2022.
"If you take Christian out of that loop then a vacuum is always filled with other things and whether that would have the same effect... but they've got momentum and they've got Verstappen.
"I wouldn't be too worried about their immediate performance, but down the road you'd have to say that will create some challenges."

Red Bull are the favourites heading into the first race of the season this weekend after promising signs in pre-season testing.
Reigning world champion Verstappen was also pleased with how the car handled during the three days of testing.
But Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was close to Verstappen during the race simulation with McLaren and Mercedes hot on their heels.
