Geri Halliwell remains 'totally invested' in her marriage to Christian Horner despite the 51-year-old's sudden departure from Red Bull earlier this week.
Horner was relieved of his duties by the Formula One side after two decades in the job.
In a surprising move, Red Bull also confirmed that former Racing Bulls chief Laurent Makies would be taking charge.
The decision comes nearly 18 months after a female Red Bull employee accused Horner of 'inappropriate behaviour'. Hundreds of WhatsApp messages allegedly exchanged between the pair were leaked to the press, leading to uncertainty over the Briton's position.

Horner always denied any wrongdoing, however, and Red Bull cleared him on two separate occasions following investigations behind the scenes.
Now, a source has told The Sun that wife Geri has 'already started to distance herself' from her husband by using the name Halliwell-Horner in her books.
It is claimed, however, that the Spice Girls icon remains 'totally invested' in their marriage at the current moment in time.
"Geri has already begun distancing herself by going by Halliwell-Horner when writing her books," an insider is quoted as saying.

"Although she's still totally invested in her marriage, she wants to focus on herself and protecting her own image."
Geri decided to support Horner after the allegations were made.
The pair put on a show of unity at the first race of the 2024 season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, at the height of the scandal.
The insider added: “Geri is the ultimate independent woman known for her girl power catch phrase.

"She knows she needs to keep her own identity at the forefront of her mind."
Another source stated: "She's totally focused on her writing career with kids books and is trying to get the series made into a film.
"Meetings in Hollywood have happened and she's really pushing that.
"She'll have her head down and be focused on trying to make more of a name for herself there."

Meanwhile, Horner said goodbye to Red Bull staff at their factory in Milton Keynes on Wednesday.
While speaking, he also revealed that news of his dismissal had come as a shock.
"Yesterday, I was informed by Red Bull that operationally, I will no longer be involved with the business for the team,” he told those present at the team's campus.
“The decision came as a shock to myself. I have had a chance to reflect over the last 12 hours and I wanted to stand in front of all of you to break this news, and just express my gratitude to each and every single member of the team that has given so much during the 20 and a half years that I have been here.
