Cutting out live TV has helped Littler

Luke Littler feels more relaxed heading into this season’s Premier League Darts finale.

This time last year, Littler was in high demand, appearing on ITV’s The Johnathan Ross Show and BBC’s Comic Relief following his run to the World Darts Championship final.

In May 2024, The Nuke showed his full potential by shocking Luke Humphries in the Premier League Final, hitting an impressive nine-darter.

He then went on to lift the Sid Waddell Trophy in January 2025, just 18 days before his 18th birthday.

It has been a conscious decision from him and his team to reduce the number of times he appears on chat shows.

Littler, who has more than 1.9 million followers on Instagram, said: “I did a lot of stuff for social media.

“A lot of shows, like The Jonathan Ross Show, which was really good.

“I found out while I was doing the first Premier League that the travel was Thursday night, and then on Friday night we’d have to rush down to a European Tour.

“But this year it has been a lot more relaxing, which we wanted, in terms of the shows and stuff.

“That was good for my socials last year. This year it’s all about kicking on.
